The major I’m pursuing is nursing. I chose nursing because I enjoy helping people. When I was once in the hospital the nurses cared for me and help brighten my day, that’s the same type of effect I’d like to leave on people as a nurse. I believe nursing is going to be a good fit for me because I enjoy working one on one with people, as well as seeing how even the littlest bit of help can change someone’s whole life. Nursing also has a lot of opportunities job wise, and a great variety of fields/specialties to choose from. As of right now I haven’t gotten the opportunity to get any experience in within the field, but hopefully some come along soon!
