Empiricism is very important to Cybersecurity because of the importance of understanding the concrete reasoning for something happening. Taking action based only off of a hunch rather than something more substantial could be wasteful and dangerous. Determinism and Relativism helps us understand that things do not happen in a vacuum, and things do not just happen for no reason. We need to understand that events happen due to one or more underlying factors with varying levels of influence. Because of this, it is important to consider that something like a patch could fix one vulnerability in one area, but inadvertently introduce more issues into other areas.
