Initially, when I looked at the overview of options of the NICE Workforce Framework, I knew I wanted to start working in an area that appealed to me the most and appealed to me. The Protection and Defense (PD) as well as the Investigation (IN) is what caught my attention. I currently have the mindset of wanting to find the best position to START my career in the future that also aligns with my goal of traveling. For the PD section it might be considered a classic role, but that’s the one I look forward to learning about the most. All of the work roles in this category appeal to me, especially the Defensive Cybersecurity and Threat Analysis roles. If I had to say which interested me the least in the Protection and Defense category, it would be Infrastructure Support. I’m not against working this role, but it requires more experience and goal at the moment is to find a job in my current skill set as someone new in the field. As time goes on, I, of course, am going to want to learn more. I am just being realistic at the moment. The next category I was most interested in is the Investigation (IN) and its roles. Personally, I think partaking in investigations would be enjoyable for me. The only two work roles in this section are Cybercrime Investigation and Digital Evidence Analysis and two roles I can see myself having.
