My reaction to this Ted Talk was that I agree with everything she was saying and the ad world needs to change. Yes, I have noticed prior to this presentation what ads do. The media like twitter and instagram has done a great job calling out these brands and bringing them to people’s attention.
Ad one is relevant because of the of the saying and the ladies mouth. Ad two is relevant because they are sexualizing the women to sell the product. Ad three is relevant because the women is being sexual abused or dominated by the male. Ad four is relevant because they are calling the women an animal. Ad five is relevant because of it say nice cans referring to the woman that has her breast out.
