How can I get an organizational account for my school?
- Go to http://www.esri.com/industries/education/software-bundle#
- Scroll down the page to Request a Free ArcGIS for Schools Bundle.
- Start off with the 500 licenses option.
- The Department could be your subject area or your school.
- Check out the overview page for examples of the uses of ArcGIS in schools.
Why do I want an organizational account?
- An organizational account provides a sheltered environment for students.
- A unique log-in is required for each member of the organization. Therefore the option of sharing the maps only with the organization exists.
- Subscription and premium content layers can only be accessed through the org.
- A wider variety of Web apps are available.
- Analysis tools such as tracing watersheds are only available through an organizational account.
- 3D apps.
What is the new ArcGIS Schools Bundle?
In addition to the online organizational account ESRI is providing schools with
- licenses to the ArcGIS Pro software ($1,500 per license)
- ArcGIS 10.5.1 desktop software ($4.200 per license and that does not include the extensions)
- The bundle is good for the next three years..

The licenses to ArcMap 10.5.1 (desktop) and ArcGIS Pro are accessible via the org administrator’s set up of their My ESRI Account. That was the 3rd email you received from ESRI with the codes. Hang onto that.
