Computers have done a lot for the world since their conception. The use of computers has advanced how we communicated and how fast information travels. Before computers society relied on the use of phones which not everyone had access to and courier services moving information by planes, trains, and automobiles. With the ability for information to become more agile and spread faster we can now disperse information quicker and more efficiently. Another way computers have made the world safer is the use of automation and testing. Using computers to calibrate and calculate have led to the use of robotics and being able to tell machine what to do instead of having to use manual labor. Computers have also been used to advance medicine and share research instantly across the world to enhance the fight against infectious diseases and other illnesses. On the other had the use of computers has led to hacking which at times can cripple the economy. Additionally, the use of computers has been used for other cybercrimes such as bullying, extortion, and stalking. For as much good computers bring to the world there can be consequences or those who will use its powers for bad. Fortunately, the advances in computers and the benefits they bring to the world far exceed the bad. Just like we have the military to fend off the foes of the world we have cyber security analyst and other works to help protect the data store on our computers and other devices. Whenever someone is working to uses something for good others are working twice as hard to destroy them. Computers are now the lifeblood of our business and everyday lives and without them life would not be the same. The advances in technology enhance our way of light and the transfer of information around the world.
