Write a journal entry about how you think the media influences our understanding about cybersecurity.

I think it’s fantastic that the media even incorporates cybersecurity into pop culture and media. It’s always those computer experts who hack databases in minutes, no matter how absurd it may seem. I think it’s beneficial to know that such incidents could happen to anyone, even the viewer. The same thing happened to me when I was in middle school. I watched a scene in Mr. Robot where a hacker got into a person’s computer because she inserted a CD that a rapper gave her. That made me cautious about one way I could be compromised.
