This course serves as an introduction to cybersecurity as an interdisciplinary field. Overall, the objective of this course is to present how cybersecurity and the IOT are connected to issues regarding culture, politics, law, ethics, and economics. A majority of this course involved discussions, blogs, and a final analytical paper.
Throughout this course, I completed several blog posts and a final paper discussing the field of cybersecurity as a whole. Overall, a key takeaway from this course is the importance of constantly adapting and staying fluent with new technologies as the world of technology continues to evolve rapidly. In my paper, I focused on DDoS attacks and how they are typically utilized. My conclusion was ultimately that cybersecurity professionals are imperative for organizations to thrive in the digital age as threats continue to appear and evolve at an alarming rate.
