CYSE 368, Cybersecurity Internship, at Old Dominion University provided me with hands-on, real-world experience in the field of cybersecurity. This course bridges the gap between academic learning and professional application by placing students in internships where they engage with industry-relevant challenges. As part of the course requirements, I was tasked with completing six reflections, documenting their learning experiences, skills developed, and insights gained throughout their internship. These reflections encourage critical thinking and self-assessment and helped me connect their academic knowledge to practical cybersecurity scenarios while preparing them for future roles in the industry.
