Module 6 Artifact
I learned from this assignment that the phrase “everything happens for a reason” is true. Even as a psychology major, I believe in fate. I didn’t have the greatest childhood or best parents to look up to, but it prepared me for the life I live today. It allows me to connect with everyone around me without judgment because I know what it feels like to be judged. My past created the fire within me to chase my dreams and accomplish goals that are important to me. It has made me humble. I think that every experience we go through, positive or negative, shapes us into being who we’re meant to be. It could be something as simple as going to a concert, to something as big as moving across the country. We are what life gives us.
I chose this picture because it is the picture I drew for the original assignment. It represents the baggage I carry each day that fuels my determination.
