In this assignment I learned that we choose to give our time to those who are most important to us. I do not give my time to a lot of people and that is because I don’t feel that everyone deserves it. There are only a few people in my life that I consider to be close to me, and anyone else is someone I am either obligated to talk to or someone I choose to talk to on occasion. For example, I have to talk to my family because we are related but more often than not I would rather give my time to someone else. Another reason I choose to give my time to a small amount of people is because I consider myself to be an introvert. I feel drained after spending only a couple hours with someone, and enjoy being by myself.
This also goes for who I will choose to wait the longest for when they are late. In my opinion, if someone is important to you then you won’t be late to meet up with them. When I meet up with someone I really enjoy being around I come early or on time. The people I would wait the longest for are my spouse and best friend because they mean the most to me.
I chose this image because time is a valuable thing and it shouldn’t be wasted on someone that isn’t worth it.
