Hello, I am Jasmine Minter, a self-motivated individual with a passion for technology. In 2020, when COVID-19 shut everything down, I used that time to dive deeper into systems and learn how to better protect information. That curiosity led me to self-studying and eventually returning to school.
With a bachelor’s degree in psychology, I am committed to utilizing my problem-solving skills to assist organizations in mitigating threats and protecting their systems. I am an alumnus of Nyack College, where I earned my degree and helped lead the 2009-2010 Women’s Basketball team to a conference championship. Being part of a strong organization has taught me the value of collaboration, clear communication, and accountability.
After graduating in 2010, I have worked in the human services field supporting individuals with special needs and disabilities. At one point, I aspired to open my own family counseling practice, but ultimately, I decided to follow my passion in cybersecurity.
Cybersecurity is a very broad field that I genuinely enjoy learning about. I am currently a student at Old Dominion University, pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity. I aspire to secure a role where I can utilize my strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to support the company’s mission while continuing to grow professionally.
