This lab involved installing a Linux operating system within a virtual machine environment. The process required careful configuration of system resources and installation settings to ensure proper functionality. I developed an understanding of virtualization, including how to allocate system resources such as memory and storage, and how to install and configure a Linux operating system. Challenges faced within the lab were ensuring that the virtual machine was configured correctly, particularly with respect to system requirements and installation options, required attention to detail. Overall, this lab provided a foundational understanding of virtual environments and prepared me for subsequent hands-on Linux system administration tasks.
