Your thoughts are more powerful than you think

It seems as though in life it’s easier to dwell on the negative aspects of what’s going on around you rather than stepping back and seeing the little drops of positivity throughout any situation. Lately, I have been focusing more on manifesting positivity into my life. The more you focus on the negative, the more it can alter your mood, lifestyle, etc. It drags you down and can further halt your attempt at happiness and achieving your goals. I’m aware that a lot of this your reading is easier said than done but it’s the baby steps that count for the long run.

Some things that I find helpful for obtaining a healthy mindset is practicing affirmations. Affirmations are positive statements that help aid in daily life challenges, self-sabotaging and negative thoughts, that ultimately lower your view on yourself. Some affirmations I find helpful are:

  1. I give myself permission to do what is right for me.
  2. I overcome fears by following my dreams.
  3. My mind is full of brilliant ideas.
  4. I ma becoming closer to my true self every day.
  5. I make a different in the world simply by existing in it.
  6. I lv e my ability to {fill in the blank}
