I want my career to focus on System Security Management. The idea of being able to work for an organization and being on a team or the sole IT team that makes sure the security standards are being upheld and that there aren’t any vulnerabilities or backdoors overall sounds mesmerizing. The business’s trust in me to ensure I’m actively defending the organization from threats and alerting them to new vulnerabilities resonates with me. The area of work most appeals to me is Cybersecurity Legal Advice simply because I’m not interested in ensuring an organization follows standards. I’ll not be the best at it.
