Awards & Recognition

I was awarded a Navy Achievement Medal for supervising countless hours of maintenance done on a warship during a combat deployment. I also managed the casualty response of eight Point Defense Systems to ensure they stayed operational at all times. I oversaw the loading and unloading of 84 missiles for two combat deployments with no safety violations and was an overall example of what sailors should strive to be while I served in the Navy.

During my time at ODU, I hope to make the Dean’s List every term.
