Memoir Reflection: I did well on my memoir but if I could go back and fix it, I would mostly put in more vivid details. When I was writing it, I thought I had put enough but I only put enough details on the overall topic, not on my dad I described him, but I didn’t really do sensory details. Another thing that got me was my use of the word you. I know that you’re never supposed to use you, but I used it three times in my paper so to not repeat that I will reread my papers before I submit them to avoid that happening in my future papers. If I ever have to make another memoir in the future or another paper that uses memoir elements, my main focal points would be more sensory details and connecting my paper to the memory.
