#4/ Module 11

I did find an association between the colors and the words I picked for emotions. The category 1 colors I associated with lonely and solitude. In category 2 I associated these colors with happiness and freedom. In category 3 I associated it will emptiness. White was is its own category because I feel it’s a stand-alone color. White can be paired with any color and mixed with any color to make something better.

Category 1: Black, Blue, Brown, Gray, Purple

Rationale: Darks

Category 2: Green, Orange, Pink, Red, Violet, Yellow

Rationale: Lights

Category 3: White

#3/Module 9

There were more similarities than differences in our results. A pattern was we both viewed the occupations that either gender could do it, but it was from we see the most and what we grew up seeing. A similarity was that we both knew what each job was and what we see majority of people doing. The difference was for some jobs I can see them as being male and female where he would only see it as one specific gender doing a certain job.

I found differences in the times. When it comes to family and friends, I’ll wait more for them than what I would for someone I work with. The longest time would be my parents. My parents are normally on time and know between the both of them sometimes thing come up at home and delays them. Depend on who is driving as well because they are older and a little slower. The shortest time would be my boss or coworkers. When it comes to work, we have rules and guidelines we must follow. I expect them to always be on time for a meeting because I know if the tables were turned it would be a huge problem if I was late.

The first artifact came from module 3. The reason I picked this image is because of the things I watched growing up in a black household. Growing up there weren’t many black television shows or character to watch.  I enjoyed cartoons but there were never many characters that looked like me or favored me. The image shows tv shows and movies that many black people grew up watching or have watched during their lifetime.
