Greetings! Welcome to my WordPress site that gives you a shred of light into my personal experiences within accounting, cybercrime, and sociology. A little background about me is that over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of fields, which range from construction project management, accounting, and government service. Although these roles have given me invaluable insights and experience, I’m excited to take on a new challenge: earning my degree in cybercrime and sociology while also connecting it to what I’ve learned with my career.
I’m passionate not only about the impact of technology in the past, present, and future, but also about how technology intersects with the criminal justice system, financial systems, and society as a whole. My experience with accounting has helped me understand the importance of accuracy, responsibility, and accountability, while sociology has helped me look deeper at people, behavior, inequality, and more.
I strongly believe my calling in life is to help others, no matter if it’s simply through customer service, understanding the social issues people face, protecting financial information, or protecting them behind a screen. I look forward to finding a career niche that allows me to use my abilities and mind to serve, protect, and understand the people and communities impacted by cybercrime from a sociological perspective centered around inequality.
