LeADERS stands for Learning through Active Discovery, Engagement, Reflection, and Showcase. For me, it was a way to look back at the classes and experiences I have had and think about how they actually fit into my life. I’ve done work in accounting, cybercrime, sociology, writing, research, and my internship, and even those are quite different, they all overlap in a way. They all deal with people, responsibility, systems, and paying attention to what is going on. LeADERS helped me slow down and see that these classes and experiences were not just something I had to “complete” and get through. They helped me learn more about myself, what I care about, and what kind of career niche I can see myself going into after graduation and the type of education I will seek after this.
