Textbook Evaluation

The textbook that I have chosen to evaluate is Four Corners (3rd edition) by Jack C. Richards and David Bohlke. This student book is designed for B1 (intermediate level) learners who are capable of using and understanding basic English in familiar or recurring contexts but who can be exposed to a greater variety of situations to use English and more complex language structures. I will superficially evaluate the scope and sequence, and then I will more deeply evaluate a sample chapter of the textbook, both with respect to the proficiency level for which it is designed.

In order to see either review, please go to the drop-down menu under “Textbook Evaluation” and select either “Evaluation Overview” for the scope and sequence review, or “Sample Chapter Evaluation” for the in-depth overview of the sample chapter.
