Jean joins us from the Peczuh lab at the University of Connecticut where her doctoral dissertation research focused on the synthesis of novel siderophores. She graduated with her doctoral degree in the summer of 2022. Her current research interests are in natural product synthesis and the development of new synthetic methods. On her free time Jean likes to bake cookies for friends and play ice hockey.
