Jean joined us from the Peczuh lab at the University of Connecticut where her doctoral dissertation research focused on the synthesis of novel siderophores. She graduated with her doctoral degree in the summer of 2022. Her research at ODU included natural product synthesis and the development of new synthetic methods. Upon leaving ODU, Jean joined Bedoukian Research Inc. as a research and development chemist.
