Artifact analyzes a real leadership moment during a regulatory audit when a discrepancy appeared and I had to manage the investigation, support my team, and communicate updates to supervisors. At the time, I acted instinctively staying calm, transparent, and focused on next steps. Through academic theory, I later recognized these behaviors as aligning with transformational leadership. As I wrote, “The most important leadership decision I made that afternoon being transparent about the seriousness of the situation while delivering that transparency calmly and with a clear next step was something I had done instinctively.” This artifact demonstrates my ability to lead under pressure and apply leadership theory to real practice.
