This assignment required me to analyze a major organizational failure using interdisciplinary methods. Instead of relying solely on financial analysis my comfort zone I had to consider cultural, structural, and communication factors. As I wrote in my reflection, “The conclusion I reached surprised me: the financial exposure in the case was not the primary failure. The primary failure was a breakdown in how risk information traveled through the organizational hierarchy.” This artifact demonstrates my ability to move beyond a single disciplinary lens and identify root causes in complex systems.
