Those with the necessary education and experience, on the other hand, have a plethora of options, with employment vacancies in almost every state and in every industry, both private and public.

Multiple organizations are making competitive offers to candidates, with wage increases average over 30%. Current businesses are rushing to keep people on board, making counter offers such as 10% and greater wage hikes for information security team members. Because of the scarcity of qualified personnel, cybersecurity specialists are among the highest paid in the technology industry, with a compensation differential of 9% over IT occupations in overall.
