In the video, she points out the real terms and words that are used in the hacking field that are implemented in the entertainment industry. Some terms were even made up. To be fair, depending on the genre, some things won’t be spot-on accurate depending on what kind of story it is. Especially if it’s fantasy, as fictional terms and words could be new and made up in that fictional story. It’s fascinating seeing how realistic it is and even if it isn’t, it’s interesting to see their interpretation of it. The media often simplified hacking for example in the video, these hacker characters crack the systems way too fast to progress the story.
