One of the biggest things I learned from CYSE 609 was how much control the command line gives you compared to just using a normal desktop interface. Learning commands like navigating directories, managing files, changing permissions, and using sudo helped me understand how systems actually work behind the scenes. Since I’m in cybersecurity, it also showed me how important Linux is for security, servers, and troubleshooting, and it made me a lot more confident working in technical environments.
