Initial Submission
I will be interviewing program staff for my program evaluation. The questions I would ask to address my overall research question, does the program decrease the percentage of children in foster care in the county, are as follows:
What is the qualification process of the program?
What is the procedure for satisfaction and completion of the program?
How is the program different than county foster care?
How is funding for the program generated?
How are the needs of the children in the program met?
What is the procedure for a child not qualified for the program?
How would you describe the overall effectiveness of your program?
What are the long-term goals of the program?
I will also be conducting a survey for participant family members of the program. The questions are as follows:
On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest satisfaction, please rate the following:
- Overall program effectiveness.
- Assistance of program staff.
- Qualification process of program.
- Length of time between requesting and receiving services.
- Ease of assistance within the program.
Final Submission based on peer feedback. I rephrased a program question to form a more positive approach.
