The MSV Student Capstone Conference 2022 will be held on April 14th in-person at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (ODU-VMASC)
2022 Conference schedule and program will be available in March.
The MSV Student Capstone Conference features students in Modeling, Simulation and Visualization (MSV) undergraduate & graduate degree programs and fields from many colleges or universities. Students present their research to an audience of fellow students, faculty, judges, and other distinguished guests. For the students, these presentations afford them the opportunity to impart their innovative research to members of the M&S community from academic, industry, and government backgrounds. NEW to this year’s conference is a high school track, featuring papers, posters, and project presentations in modeling and simulation concepts from regional school divisions. The MSV Student Capstone Conference offers six presentation tracks this year. Each track has two awards. The best paper and the best presentation. The overall winner of the conference will be honored with the Gene Newman award! Additionally, the following prices will be awarded:
- Best overall paper (Gene Newman award): Bose Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling Earbuds
- Best paper/presentation per track: DIKAOU LED Flame Speaker (iOS and Android compatible)
- Best papers will be invited to present at MODSIM World Conference in Norfolk, May 9-11, 2022
- Best papers will be invited to publish on the Journal of Simulation Engineering (JSIME).
