Artifact: CYSE 270 Lab 5 – Password Cracking
For Course Experience #1, I chose to highlight CYSE 270 Lab 5 – Password Cracking because it continues to stand out as one of the most memorable experiences from my cybersecurity coursework. I particularly enjoyed this lab because it allowed me to apply classroom knowledge in a hands-on environment and gain a better understanding of how password vulnerabilities can impact system security.
Looking back, this experience played an important role in building my technical foundation and strengthening my analytical and problem-solving skills. I chose to include this lab because it represents an earlier stage of my academic journey and demonstrates how my technical knowledge has developed over time. The skills and concepts I gained from this experience have continued to influence my approach to cybersecurity and are relevant to the work I perform in my professional career today.
