Artifact: Reflective Writing Assignment.
This course strengthened my understanding of the ethical responsibilities that come with working in cybersecurity. I explored topics including privacy, user consent, corporate responsibility, AI, data collection, and automated decision-making.
The course helped me recognize that cybersecurity is not only about protecting systems, but also about making responsible decisions with sensitive information. I developed a stronger understanding of how security decisions involving access control, monitoring, risk, and data use can directly affect individuals and organizations.
This course reinforced the importance of combining technical knowledge with sound judgment, accountability, and an understanding of the human impact of cybersecurity decisions.
