I recently received an e-mail from an ODU alumnus currently working for the campaign about positions available with the Youngkin for Governor campaign.  It looks like they are hiring field organizers, and recruiting interns. The advertisement I was sent from the campaign is below:

Want to make an impactful difference and gain experience in the political field? The Glenn Youngkin for Governor campaign is looking to hire full-time staffers and interns. This is the biggest race in the country this year. We’re putting together a team of like-minded individuals to help pull together a successful campaign for Glenn – a true American businessman. If you believe in bringing Virginia fresh ideas, shared values, and innovative solutions to rebuild and reimagine Virginia’s future than this is for you.

• Job Type: full time (we are also working for interns)
• Work Location: Hampton Roads, VA

Responsibilities:

– Recruiting and managing your team of volunteers in your turf

– Assisting the Regional Field Director in your turf

– Attend Weekly meetings

–  Voter contact and Election Day Operations (EDO)

Qualifications:

– Team player who has a strong work ethic

– Phone & laptop availability 

– Positive attitude and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment

– Has own form of transportation

– Flexible and proactive – You are willing and able to adapt to changing needs of the organization
