After watching the YouTube video “Scientists rate 65 scenes from movies and TV: How Real is it,” it is proof that you cannot believe everything you see on TV. Of course, you should not.  However, if you are not educated on how specific systems work, you may think what you watch on the media is the truth. I was shocked to learn that the scene from the Iron Man 2008 clip exists in the virtual world. I never would have viewed it in that aspect, but rather in a make-believe world, like most movies. The fact that pieces of the Iron Man suit exist but are not as advanced is mind-blowing to me. I believe the media can have a significant impact on the way people view cybersecurity.  Sometimes, when I watch older movies like “The Net” with Sandra Bullock, I wonder how the technology in the film was even conceived, given that technology was not as advanced in 1995.
