Major: Nursing

My purpose: I chose nursing because I like the fast paced work, the constantly different days, and being able to help those who are having the worst day of their life. Being able to help someone on their worst and helping them heal and become a better version of themselves makes me happy. Even when It is a case where they will not get better. Being able to bring someone comfort and truly be their for them and comfort them on their final days is such a beautiful experience.

Experience- I have volunteered in the emergency department and with fire station 4 in Chesapeake. I graduated TCC with my EMT, Pharmacy Technician, Health Professions, Phlebotomy, and CNA certifications. Currently I work at Sentara Norfolk General as a Nursing Care Partner on their step down unit. I am also CPR, First Aid, and AED certified.
