I am proud of the progress I have made so far, but because my main concerns are grammar and spelling, I want to make sure to focus on this for the remainder of the semester. ImmerseMe is a great tool for me to use to work on my spelling, and having to learn the spellings of terms by listening is very helpful in building an understanding of how letters and syllables are structured in French. To work on my grammar, however, I think practicing more in the CMU program will be the most helpful. ImmerseMe helps a little bit with grammar, but I feel like I am able to learn it better through the wider range of grammar-related activities that CMU provides. I think using both of these tools together will really help strengthen my understanding of the French language overall while allowing me to focus in on the areas in which I need the most help.
