Q:Watch this video. As you watch the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYtmuHbhmS0, think about how the description of the cybersecurity analyst job relates to social behaviors. Write a paragraph describing social themes that arise in the presentation.
A: According to the video, a cybersecurity analyst is the “first line of defense” against any sort of cybersecurity attack that a business or organization can face. In addition, a cybersecurity analyst reports any vulnerabilities within the system, addresses any phishing emails sent, developing the system’s security, and much more. Amongst the technical work performed, cybersecurity analysts also do a great deal of social cybersecurity while on the job, such as identifying and addressing phishing emails that occur, doing research into potential cyber behavior from employees or attackers, educating employees on user awareness while on the network, and much more. With this job, cybersecurity analysts utilize all five of the social dimensions used by cybersecurity professionals: critical thinking in adapting and reacting to cyber threats, communication and teamwork to properly work together to strengthen the system, problem solving skills for whatever situation comes to their attention, and writing skills to make proper, educated reports on research and technical solutions. While not as obvious as other cybersecurity positions, social cybersecurity is a vital aspect to the job of cybersecurity analysts.
