      • Great grandma was a nurse and mother was a radiologic technician, so she was surrounded by medical professionals. She started in the field at 16 years old and was exposed to the healthcare field at a young age.

      • PCA, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant, Role Transition that allowed her to get 180 hours of experience, NICU Nurse
    • Basic roles and responsibilities
      • Patient First Nurse: Locating patients, obtaining accurate vital signs by visual and auditory measures, triaging patients, assessing patients’ medical condition and preparing patients for physicals and medical treatment by physicians, medication administration, urgent and primary care treatment, patient follow up. 
      • NICU Nurse: Clean the baby’s rooms, plan for the day, do assessment for the babies, give babies medication, chart for the babies, expect the unexpected

      • Seeing a baby that you’ve had for a while get discharged and go home and live a normal life.
