I always wanted to become an engineer since childhood. I grew my interest in this field by taking classes related to this field as well as researching about them during my free time. This starts with me taking some robotics classes during my elementary and middle school. As well as I would surf on the internet some videos related to electronics during my free time. I would also take apart a remote-control car just to look at the electronics inside the car. Getting hands-on experience on this helped me know better about each electronic wires’ function. This interest grew more as I took some engineering classes during high school. Some of them were Design and Technology, Engineering Drawing as well as Robotics. These classes helped to get some hands-on experience on some things that are required by every engineering student. I even got a chance to work with Northrop Grumman on their Drone Innovation Challenge, where my team had designed a drone for them and got placed 4th out of fifteen schools. Now, in college, I look forward to some opportunities which can make a successful engineer in life.
