SERMACS 2025

Dr. Lambert and our first-year graduate student Kyle Kellar attended the Southeastern Regional Meeting of the American Chemical Society (SERMACS) in Orlando, FL. Kyle gave a poster presentation on the total synthesis of a triterpenoid natural product.

Our undergraduate student Sara Radwan has received the Honor Creativity Award from ODU! We are so proud of you Sara, and our looking forward to your continued hard work!

The Lambert Group Attends the ACS National Meeting

The Lambert Group was very well represented at the ACS National Meeting in Washington, D.C. All of our graduate students, Cylah, Shayne, Shannon, and Karen, our undergraduate students Olivia, Sara, and Gloria, and our Project SEED student Micah all presented talks or posters! We are proud of all of our students’ excellent work in their research!

Welcome Kyle!

We would like to welcome Kyle Kellar to the Lambert Group! Kyle obtained his B.S. in Chemistry from Campbell University in May 2025 and joined our group shortly thereafter. Kyle will be trying to obtain his PhD in chemistry. He will be working on total synthesis projects in our lab.

Welcome Project SEED Students!

The Lambert Group is proud to participate in the Project SEED program, which allows high school students to obtain useful research experience. We would like to warmly welcome Micah and Renee, two senior high school students! They will be conducting research in the Lambert Lab for the summer.

VAS Presentations

The Lambert Group was well represented at the Virginia Academy of Science Annual Meeting at UVA, where Shayne, Aiden, Olivia, and Gloria all gave presentations!
