FR 312: Communicative Competency – Writing & Listening

The FR 312 course allows students to improve writing skills by intense written course work with objective to polish the student's writing and give them the tools for reviewing their work. Below are some samples of my best efforts in the course.

Throughout the course, students were tasked to create paper-based portfolios gathering written artifacts influenced by the literary genre studied in the chapter. Various drafts were created to  help students learn basic composition skills, and the commentary of the professor helped guide their writing. Chapter 1 was focused on Narration as a literary genre, and Chapter 7 was focus on Poetry.

The Group Presentation Project was focused on Poetry. The group researched important biographical achievements of an author, and later analysed one poem from the author's collection.
