Hi! My name is Ellen and I am a sophomore at Old Dominion University. I plan on majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Whenever I’m not busy with the Old Dominion Rowing team, I am trying to explore more about the researching work here at ODU. I am currently a Research Assistant with the Phytoplankton Analysis Laboratory. With this position I am obtaining hands on experience by preparing samples for analysis, general lab upkeep, and organizing data. I truly recommend anyone to reach out to find new experiences! With that, you might get your hands dirty but you will always learn something new.
