Raw Prompt Number Five was a very unique assignment, but it helped me hone my bigger essay into a much more specific one. I consistently feel as though the sentences I write are too long. In this assignment I had to write a two-hundred word run-on sentence about my project and it helped free my writing quite a bit. I took a similar strategy over the course of this last week or so of finals. I would sit down for a twelve page essay and instead of writing little-by-little, I would instead try to write at least three or four pages in a sitting with no attention to form. This really helped me get started on my essays in a way that I have never before felt so free to do.
