Title: Start sooner rather than later: Taking advantage of the Career Pathways program and opportunities for professional and career development

This interactive talk focuses on professional and career development needs of ODU graduate students. The goals of the talk are three-fold:

Encourage graduate students to undertake professional and career development early in their academic career;
Introduce students to ODU’s Career Pathways program and its two certificates: Preparing Future Faculty Certificate and Preparing Future Professionals Certificate;
Review how to use the developmental CV and individual development plan to identify professional and career development needs.
