Essential Work Habits

Below is feedback I received from my professor’s assistant on one of my free writes in CRJS 310. In this free write, the prompt was to explain whether or not a “joy of cybercrime” is similar to a “joy of violence”. This was one of many assignments that taught me strong analytical and diagnostic skills and the ability to get the job done since I had to dive deep into the mind of a cybercriminal through research in order to be able to answer this question.

Soft Skills

The images above are memes I created in relation to cybercrime in CRJS 310. Memes are a way to help simplify what cybercrime is and how it could be avoided.

Soft skills are important to have within the workplace. I have developed skills such as excellent communication and listening skills by working at Chick-fil-A. Being in a customer service role, I am able to actively listen to customers if they have a problem or question and can either resolve the issue myself or find a manager that can further assist them.

Solid Technical Foundation

I have learned various cybersecurity skills throughout the courses I have taken at ODU. Specifically, I have a solid understanding of Linux systems based off my CYSE 270 class in which we did labs involving the linux system.

I am providing a PDF of one of my homework assignments from my Linux class to showcase an understanding of my technical skills. This assignment involved user account and group account management.
