Understanding how to reduce residual deformation using process modeling

Published research findings on cure history dependent residual deformation in thermosetting composites with carbon fiber reinforcement. This research can allow reducing detrimental residual deformation and thermal stresses resulting from manufacturing cure cycles.

Published our findings on experimental and modeling of thermal expansion behavior of polymer nanocomposites

The thermal expansion behavior of polymer carbon nanotube (CNT) nanocomposites was investigated, and a micromechanical model was proposed to explain the highly nonlinear dependence of the coefficient of thermal expansion of the nanocomposite with CNT content for the CNT/polyimide nanocomposite….
