Our goal is to advance understanding of how manufacturing of novel composite materials influences the processing-structure-property relationships by considering the relevant physical phenomena. We study the origin of uncertainty in mechanical and failure behavior by utilizing a computationally driven approach with experimental techniques and material science.


Our main research interests include mechanistic modeling of composite and the effect of the processing on its behavior


Out commitment is aligned with university wide policy to prepare the next generation of engineers both in undergraduate and graduate programs.
