The CMM Group at ODU’s Batten College of Engineering and Technology works to advance understanding of mechanics in novel composite materials by considering material science phenomena during manufacturing. CMM is focusing on multi-scale nature of composites using computationally driven approach and AI coupled with experimental testing and material characterization.
