Women’s Soccer at Old Dominion University (ODU) takes place at the ODU Soccer Complex located off 43rd Street.

History

Women’s Soccer began at ODU in 1994, when the university was part of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) conference, with Joe Pereira as the first Head Coach. In 2021, the Women’s Soccer team won their first Conference USA Championship after defeating Southern Mississippi 1-0. In 2022, Women’s Soccer moved to the Sun Belt Conference, and the team won the conference championship in 2022 and 2023. In 2023, Ece Turkoglu became the first Monarch soccer player to be named an All-American by the United Soccer Coaches.
