Facilities Management and Construction
Facilities Management and Construction is one of the areas under the Division of Administration and Finance at Old Dominion University (ODU). Facilities Management and Construction consists of six departments: Business Operations, Facilities Operations and Maintenance, Building Services, Engineering and Non-Capital Construction, Design and Capital Construction, and Transportation and Parking Services. The Facilities Management and Construction Offices are located in the Facilities Management Building off Powhatan Avenue.

History
At the Norfolk Division of the College of William & Mary in the 1930s, there was only one custodian on staff that took care of the buildings on campus.
With the merger of ODU and Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) on July 1, 2024, Transportation and Parking Services moved under the Facilities Management and Construction department.
