Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer for Old Dominion University (ODU), reporting to the President of the University, and provides leadership for the Academic Affairs Division in teaching, research, and service. The Provost is also responsible for the operation of six academic colleges (College of Arts and Letters, Strome College of Business, Darden College of Education and Professional Studies, Batten College of Engineering and Technology, College of Health Sciences, and College of Sciences), the School of Continuing Education and Professional Development, Honors College, University Libraries, Advising and Transfer Programs, Academic Enhancement, Distance Learning, the Graduate School, Assessment, International Programs, Higher Education Centers, Center for High Impact Practices, Center for Faculty Development, and Faculty Diversity and Inclusion.
